A twist on Cantu Define and Shine Custard
I made the mistake of buying Cantu Define and Shine Custard and realized that it dries your hair out and leaves behind white flakes, but your curls are defined. Since I paid $5.99 for it and I don't have money to blow, I decided to come up with ways to make this work. So, I got a empty bowl dumped the entire Cantu custard, what was left of my Cantu moisturizing curl activator cream, half of my Cantu leave-in conditioner, and eye balled some coconut oil in the mix. I stirred it up real good and rubbed it around my fingers and it felt better...less thickness sticky texture. Then I got my water bottle and dampened my hair a little and got a good dab of the mixture and messaged it into my hair. Then I twisted my hair. When it dried, my hair was not dry and no flakes. It was softer with a little moisture and my curls were definitely defined. It is so hard to define my 4c hair without it going back to happy nappy.
