Hair is dry and crunchy after wash and go dries

Hi Naturals!! I wash my hair with Jane Carter, As I Am or The Main Choice Products. I dc or hot oil, do the loc, lco method. I applied ECO Argon Oil gel and when it harden after it dried, the next time I didn't apply it, I used the Jane Carter Pracaxi cream, it harden. This time I did the LCO Method followed by blot dryymy hair for 2-3 minutes with a handheld dry followed by 2-3 minutes of cool air. It feels soft for. Now. I believe I have 4a 4b course hair. I have transitioned for 11 1/2 months and have been natural for one month. Thanks!!

Good morning! I'm sorry that you're having issues with your hair feeling crunchy. It's very possible that it's the combination of hair products, namely the addition Eco styler gel. It's going to take a little time for you to figure out what will work best for you. Keep going, you're doing a great job! Congratulations on successfully transitioning being natural for a month!

I am currently having the same problem and couldn't figure it out. First I thought it was due to having two babies back to back plus postpardom hair damage and loss. But then I discovered it was my harsh tap water. Get a shower filter and it'll do wonders just after I wash!!

Yes, it happened to me too about the water I used and sometimes some hair products that contains harsh chemicals can also damage our hair.
