Happy New Year, everyone! (I guess it’s still OK to say that this late in the month. LOL)
Just wanted to give you an update on my hair transition. Things are going well. I’ve been making good use of protective styling the last two months (two-strand twists) so here’s a video showing you how I wore my hair in December and January.

Well, I DID bite the bullet and my barber has become a thing of the past…well I do try to keep it trimmed but no more BALDY! I can’t wait to try all of the fun hairstyles that you have shared (although I do still have a looooong way to go). I’ll keep in touch and by the way, I LOVE LOVE the aloe vera. Thanks, Lisa. You are an inspiration and I am looking forward to GLAMOROUS!

You can do it! I can only imagine how much of a shift that would be for you since you’ve worn your hair in a low-maintenance way for so long. So I understand your hesitation completely. But I really hope you stick with growing it out, even if it’s just for a little while.

Oops! That’s ‘bite’ the bullet…

Just finished watching your ‘twist out’. Your voice is a ‘bit’ stronger and I guess each day it gets better. Love the hair and if I could just make a decision and stick with it, I’d try the transitioning method but I get to 6 or 8 weeks without seeing my barber and chicken out. Guess I really don’t need to ‘transition’ since I’ve worn my hair cut so short for these many years (I’m guessing 10, at least), I just need to let it grow and begin using the right products as described in your website. I’ll let you know when/if I really decide to bit the bullet and let it grow. Love ya!
