Rod Set With Pompadour Video Tutorial

Here’s a video of how I rod set my transitioning hair. I typically like to style the top and sides of my hair in twists or some kind of up-do because I won’t have to worry about smashing the curls while I sleep.  (I’m a side sleeper.)  It helps the style last longer.

As you’ll see in the video below, I’m rocking a pompadour with this rod set. If you are viewing this via e-mail or an RSS reader that doesn’t support video, you can watch the video on my blog or on YouTube.

Are you using small enough rods? They tend to last longer and make sure you roll the hair pretty tight. Also use Aloe Vera Gel and some kind of moisturizing product when you set the hair.
